Welcome to Wiki Ganesha, a site dedicated to creating a scholarly knowledge base for understanding one of the most dynamic areas of literary production, South Asia.

The Purpose of Wiki Ganesha

Affiliated with the Humanities Hypermedia Centre (HHC) (http://hhc.acadiau.ca) at Acadia University (http://www.acadiau.ca), this site has been designed as part of the course structure of English 3663: South Asian Literatures. To fulfil course requirements, students registered in English 3663 will generate wiki articles on a variety of topics germane to the study of South Asian Literature. Students enrolled in subsequent offerings of the course will benefit from the articles posted by earlier classes, and they will build on the knowledge base with articles of their own. Finally, the page should serve a constituency beyond Acadia University, students of South Asian literature around the world, all of whom are welcome to participate in a wider dialogue on South Asia.

Who can contribute?

Wiki Ganesha is designed to be a forum for student generated projects and discussions in South Asian Literature at Acadia University. While individuals outside of Acadia are invited to join in constructive discussions concerning the various issues and projects, submission rights are limited to Acadia students enrolled in English 3663.
